WHAT I BRING
I'm a business systems analyst with 3+ years translating business needs into system capabilities across government technology, retail, e-commerce and edtech. I gather requirements, write functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria, and coordinate UAT and defect triage — with hands-on SQL, Python and Power BI behind it.
Right now I'm the BA and ML developer on a deployed, air-gapped AI platform for a state-government exam publisher, and I own pricing, purchase orders and inventory for a 5-outlet Dublin retail and e-commerce business. Before that I co-founded Happy Dips, held full P&L accountability, and grew it to 1 owned branch + 7 franchises.
Most analysts study case studies. I've been the case study — built the business, ran the P&L, and designed the systems that kept the numbers honest. I hold an MSc in Business Analytics (Dublin Business School, 2.1) and have Stamp 1G with full right to work in Ireland.
Analyst for a 5-outlet retail and e-commerce business; my outlet ranked #1 of 5 for sales performance with ~20% year-on-year growth. I led an end-to-end business analysis of stock, purchasing and billing processes across 1,000+ SKUs in the POS and inventory system, and identified 6 critical process gaps, including billing errors, unrecorded sales and missing purchase-order controls.
I defined system controls for data integrity and audit trail: an in-system purchase-order workflow, locked end-of-day reconciliation and automated low-stock alerts. Day to day, I own pricing, purchase orders and inventory, and built KPI reporting from POS data on sales, product mix and stock.
Result: Business case showing €7,095/year benefit with under one month payback (implementation cost ~€150).

BA for AP Publisher, which produces Tamil Nadu government exam papers. I partnered with client stakeholders and developers to translate business needs into system capabilities, leading requirements gathering for a platform bound by strict government security and compliance rules: air-gapped, with zero external data transmission. I analysed the manual as-is process and wrote functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria for the to-be workflow.
On the build side, I trained CRNN handwriting models (PyTorch, ONNX) to ~80% accuracy on real handwritten Hindi and integrated IndicTrans2 for on-device translation. I worked with developers on a FastAPI + React architecture, Python data pipelines for PDF/DOCX extraction and validation, and a Redis job queue, then coordinated UAT, triaged defects in Jira and validated fixes before production deployment, running Agile/Scrum sprints across the SDLC.
Result: A deployed offline AI platform that turns handwritten exam scripts into translated text in minutes, not hours.
Held full P&L accountability for Chennai's first chocolate strawberry brand. I managed pricing, supplier negotiations, demand and cash flow forecasting, operating expenses and gross margin, tracking daily return on investment per store.
I designed and led the build of a Python web/mobile ERP-style app on SQLite linking production, inventory, purchases and sales for 25+ daily users across 8 locations. I automated end-of-day reconciliation with SQL against card-terminal, stock and cash totals, cutting daily closing from hours to a single cash count, and built Power BI dashboards for P&L, cash flow, taxes and per-outlet franchise scorecards. I also wrote the SOPs and training materials and led change management to drive adoption at every location.
Result: Recovered the start-up investment in the first month and grew network monthly profit 5x+ in under 2 years, scaling to 1 owned branch + 7 franchises. Featured in The New Indian Express & DT Next.
At a STEM edtech company supporting 800+ schools, I analysed 3 new B2C concepts, 2 of which moved forward. I led market and user research and wrote the MVP specification and user journeys for a STEM kits-and-courses product, which was piloted directly with clients.
I also built a business case for a US mental-health teletherapy platform: TAM/SAM sizing in SQL and Excel, a competitive landscape of 10+ competitors, and HIPAA regulatory requirements.
Result: 2 of 3 concepts moved forward; the teletherapy business case was approved for launch planning.

Won and delivered work for 10+ clients in year one, including AMR Football Club, CappricioSec University and Truly Yours skincare. I gathered requirements, mapped client processes and delivered websites with SQL databases, then managed UAT and client sign-off.
Built a machine learning (XGBoost) model predicting return on assets (ROA) for 50 S&P 500 companies, then used SHAP to measure how much ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) scores add on top of financial fundamentals.
Key Finding: The model predicts ROA at R² 0.81 (cross-validated 0.84). SHAP showed ESG adds 3–5% explanatory power over financial fundamentals.
